WHO WE ARE

Built by people who've
done this before.

Altima Partners brings together senior health economists, market access strategists, and commercial leaders with decades of combined experience across the world's most complex healthcare markets.

OUR STORY

Why we founded Altima Partners

Health economics evidence has never been more important — or more poorly served. Biotech and pharma companies preparing for payer conversations and HTA submissions face a stark choice: commission large consultancies that are expensive, slow, and staff projects with junior analysts, or try to build capability in-house at a cost that's hard to justify before launch.

We founded Altima Partners to offer a third option. A firm built around senior delivery, right-sized models, and fixed fees — where the people who sell the work are the people who do it. Where a budget impact model is built to support the decision it needs to support, not to justify the engagement it's attached to.

Our team brings together deep health economics modelling expertise, global HTA knowledge, and decades of commercial experience from pharma, consulting, and academia. We work with VP Market Access and HEOR Directors who are tired of paying partner rates for associate delivery — and who need payer-ready evidence built by people who genuinely know what they're doing.

SENIOR DELIVERY
Every project is led and built by experienced health economists. No hand-offs. No supervision from a distance.
RIGHT-SIZED
We build the model the decision requires. If a simpler approach is the right answer, we'll say so.
TRANSPARENT
Fixed fees, clear scope, no surprises. You know exactly what you're getting before work begins.
GLOBAL
Deep familiarity with payer expectations across the UK, Europe, US, and beyond — built in, not bolted on.

Market Access Pricing Strategy HTA Commercial HEOR

Tim is a strategic commercial and market access leader with over 25 years of experience spanning pharma, biotech, medtech, CROs, and professional services. He founded Altima Partners to address a gap he encountered repeatedly throughout his career: biotech and pharmaceutical companies needing senior-quality health economics evidence, without the overhead and inefficiency of large consultancy engagements.

Prior to founding Altima, Tim served as Head of Commercial at Global Pricing Innovations, where he scaled the commercial organisation and delivered the company's strongest performance in five years. Before that, he was Managing Director of the Value, Access and Health Economics practice at Syneos Health, leading a high-growth practice with 35% year-on-year growth. He also spent four years as Head of Pharma Practice at the Economist Intelligence Unit, building and leading a global health economics and market access advisory team.

Earlier in his career, Tim spent 16 years at Pfizer in progressively senior roles across European and global market analytics, giving him first-hand insight into what pharma and biotech companies need from their health economics partners.
